Our favorite beach resort. Great rooms on strand in Oceanside lovely area. Outstanding service and kept clean and comfortable. Manager is a great man who keeps this resort in tip top shape. Girls keep rooms immaculate upon arrival and are pleasant and helpful. My families happy place!
My wife and I were very pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and modern The staff (including Larry) were easy to get along with and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I would be willing to purchase a week if one became available. You can’t beat the location
They more helpful, i had been met the ladies n the guys n dey js give u whatever, dude they r such help. Mind you there rooms are 10/10, clean n very nice inside n out. Right on the beach duh.
Love this place. Be prepared it isn't 5 star living, but there is everything you need to enjoy a beach stay. It is literally on the beach. Weather is always beautiful. There are amazing restaurants & so many fun opportunities to experience. Everything is in walking distance too! There are only 13 units. Although the cleanliness of the kitchen could be a little better & the box fan that needs cleaning, maybe even some larger towels; we brought a lot our own stuff so we didn't need to really worry about those items. All in all, one of the best locations in Oceanside for an incredible price.
I had my timeshare at the Blue Whale in 2000 and it was one of my best vacations in Southern California. The place is unforgettable! The unit is clean, spacious and well equipped. The staff is welcoming and very friendly. It’s a beach front resort, has direct access to the ocean and car parking in front of the door! Enjoy the Oceanside Pier by night! We loved the place, a truly lovely resort!!!
Love the location of our "home" resort! It's on the boardwalk, and the beach is a hop, skip, and a jump. Thank goodness we have parking because that is a nightmare.
I JUST HAD TO RESPOND TO THE 2 MOST RECENT REVIEWS, THAT WERE NEGATIVE AND COULD NOT BE TRUE. I HAVE STAYED AT THE BLUE WHALE NUMEROUS TIMES OVER MANY YEARS. I DO NOT OWN THERE, BUT I WOULD IF I COULD. THE MANAGER LARRY IS FANTASTIC. HE WORKS VERY, VERY HARD TO KEEP EVERYTHING IN TIP TOP SHAPE AND DOES MOST OF THE WORK HIMSELF TO KEEP THE COSTS DOWN FOR THE TIMESHARE OWNERS. I'VE NEVER SEEN A TIMESHARE COMPLEX RUN SO WELL AND A MANAGER THAT WORKS SO HARD TO KEEP THE COSTS DOWN. THE COUPLE OTHER EMPLOYEES ARE GREAT TOO AND ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL. AND YOU CANNOT BEAT THE LOCATION. RIGHT ON THE STRAND, ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE BEACH.
What an incredible place to have a tiny share of ownership in. Bought my week long timeshare for 2.2K. Best real estate investment I made outside my home! Maintenance fees are about 500-600 a year, reasonable and broken up quarterly. Clean and spacious room, fun times, and the beach is sooooooooo close!!! Grab your chairs from home, and hit that beach with your coolers and have a great stay!!
